First off I want to thank you for at least taking a second to glance at this site. Now, let me get down to the details of what exactly is going on. My fiance, Nicole, and I want to get married on August 21, 2010. The one thing preventing us is lack of money. We have to pay for anything and everything out of our pockets and our pockets aren't very deep. She has a son from a previous relationship and her and I have a daughter together so our two children somewhat limit our supply of money. Now that you have our general background let me explain the purpose of this site. I decided that we need to find another way to help pay for the wedding if this is really going to haappen. What I decided to do was build this site where individuals can come and purchase a link on the main page. Now, to make things interesting, your link placement will depend on the price you pay for your link. There will be 200 available spots on the front page for a link and the minimum price for each slot is 50 cents. Now, this isn't really that much money for a link on the front page of a website and you can gain some exposure.
Here's where things get really interesting. Until the page is completely filled up with links, it is possible to have an entire page of links, each with a price of no more than 50 cents. After this, if you want to be on the page you have to spend more than 50 cents, or you may update an existing link on the page to move your link up the totem pole. Any links that are not showed on the home page will still be viewable on a separate page so you link is on the site forever no matter what. To answer the question of how long the links will remain up, I am going to host the website for at least five years maybe even more, especially if this allows us to have our wedding. We're not trying to have some huge, fancy wedding, I just want it to be her day I don't want her to have to settle for something because we cant pay for something else.
